Health and Nutrition

We take our role in feeding your children very seriously. We have an on-site kitchen and a full time chef, Billy, who is in charge of preparing nutritious, balanced and appetising meals for all the children in our care.

Billy has lots of experience in preparing meals for children with serious allergies and different dietary needs/preferences and works hard to reduce the amount of sugar used throughout the whole menu. Our menu is updated regularly and is always child-friendly whilst offering all the nutrients your little ones need to go about their busy little days!

Online learning journal

At Macclesfield Day Nursery we use the online journal, Tapestry. This allows you to follow your Child’s progress online or using the App. You can also comment on observations or add in your own.

Huge, natural landscaped garden

Our large garden and all weather learning area is used every day allowing fresh air, exercise and exploration.

Community outings and days out

Although our nursery provides a wealth of experiences, we love to take the children out into the local area - and sometimes further afield - to build on their learning. 

We have visited local care homes where we have performed songs, we often go to West Park and love our visits to the library in town. If we’ve planned a baking/cooking activity, we can often be seen in Sainsbury’s buying all the ingredients we need. We’ve even caught the bus to Bollington and walked up to see White Nancy!

We try our very best to organise a summer trip for the school leavers and a trip to the pantomime at Christmas for our pre schoolers.
